Hollow glass microsphere for rubber elastomer

Hollow glass microspheres are high-performance borosilicate lightweight inorganic fillers specially optimized for rubber and elastomer modification. Featuring ultra-low density, uniform spherical structure, stable compressive strength, excellent chemical inertness and low thermal conductivity, they have become essential functional additives to upgrade the comprehensive performance of various rubber elastomer products, widely applied in silicone rubber, polyurethane rubber, natural rubber, synthetic rubber and composite elastomer materials.

In addition to lightweight improvement, hollow glass microspheres greatly optimize the mechanical and dimensional stability of rubber elastomers. During rubber vulcanization and molding, the spherical particles can effectively inhibit thermal expansion and cold shrinkage of the elastomer matrix, reduce curing shrinkage rate, and avoid common defects such as deformation, warping and cracking of rubber products. Meanwhile, the rigid glass spherical structure can enhance the surface hardness, compression resistance and wear resistance of rubber materials, improve structural rigidity, and solve the problem that pure rubber materials are prone to compression deformation and poor durability under long-term stress.
