In SMC and BMC formula modification, hollow glass microspheres can effectively reduce the overall density of composite materials. Replacing conventional heavy calcium powder, talc and other mineral fillers, it greatly lowers the weight of automotive plastic parts, helping vehicles achieve energy saving, emission reduction and mileage improvement.
